Rideau Hall Tour - April 17, 2009

Twenty-eight Arteast members and their spouses had an enjoyable and illuminating tour of Government House/Rideau Hall on April 17th. The tour, an element of the 'Grow with Art' program of Arteast, gave the visitors a fulsome look at the art and decorations in the public areas. The guides provided excellent background and details about the building, its content and the role of the Governor General (who unfortunately was not at home to offer us tea). The next Grow with Art fundraiser is planned for September with a workshop on digital potfolio presentations. The group is pictured here under the arch at the entrance prior to the Tour
