"I love to paint. Sometimes I just start painting -- no plans -- just movement, energy, line and colour. Within moments, several potential directions appear. These pathways usually relate to something from my real or imagined life and I find it easy to navigate in one direction or another. Sometimes the trails are a dead-end. That'll happen when you don't bring a map, but the thrill of exploring keeps me hooked."
