Born and raised in Beaconsfield, England, Rosy has always enjoyed immersing herself in the process of drawing and painting. Rosy originally studied Fine Art and English, and then worked in graphic design for many years, before emigrating to Canada in 1996. She returned to painting in 2000. Moving from Ottawa to Chilliwack and back to Ottawa, Rosy has participated in group exhibitions in Coquitlam, Chilliwack, Abbotsford and Ottawa, and in group juried shows with the Fraser Valley Watercolour Society, the Ottawa Watercolour Society, Arteast and the Ottawa Art Festival. Rosy has a passion for colour, light and capturing the elusive spirit of her subjects. Her works now hang in private and corporate collections in Europe and across Canada.
