Bernard Emile Poirier (a native Ottawan raised in Québec City) was always interested in drawing. Bernard started painting in oils upon his return to Ottawa in 1948.
After creating many gifts with his paintings, he exhibited at the Noël and Four Corners galleries. Pencil and watercolours became his main attractions and he illustrated his own book on malt Scotch whisky.
Now retired, this well-travelled artist is giving much more time to translating his love of nature to water paintings, and signs them BEP.
